Whether you are between houses, making room for a new arrival or clearing space for building work, a container gives you a dry, secure room you can drive right up to.

Why a container
What you get, whichever yard you pick.
Drive-up loading
Park beside your container and carry things straight in. No lifts, no corridors, no trolleys.
Only you hold the key
You fit your own padlock. Our staff cannot open your container.
Weatherproof steel
Purpose-built shipping containers keep out rain, wind and pests.
Pay monthly
A simple monthly rate, invoiced on 30-day terms. Stay as long as you need and give one month’s notice when you are ready.

Container sizes
Around 80 sq ft. Holds the contents of a one to two bedroom flat, or roughly 60 to 80 boxes.
Around 160 sq ft. Holds a three to four bedroom house, or business stock on pallets.
What has happened
Most people arrive for one of these five reasons.
Each one is a slightly different job — different size, different length of stay, different things worth knowing beforehand.

Storage for moving home
Chains slip. Completion moves. A container gives you somewhere to put a whole house for as long as the dates refuse to line up, with no notice period longer than a month.

Renovation storage
Builders work faster in an empty room, and your furniture survives better out of the dust. A container parked ten minutes away is cheaper than losing a sofa to plaster.

Storage for decluttering
You do not have to decide today. Move what you are unsure about out of the house, live without it for a few months, and the decision usually makes itself.

Life events storage
Bereavement, separation, a new baby, a job in another city. Some of the reasons people need storage are not ordinary house moves, and they tend to arrive without notice.

Storage while travelling
Give up the tenancy, put the flat in a container, and stop paying London rent on a room you are not sleeping in. It will be exactly as you left it when you get back.
